Today is a special day. Gemmyo is celebrating its 15th anniversary. To mark this unique milestone, the Maison’s two founders, Pauline Laigneau and Charif Debs, put pen to paper to reflect on the journey that gave birth to the Maison: a dream turned into reality, guided from day one by exacting standards, sincerity, independence of mind, and a deep passion for what inspires them most — fine jewelry.
The Founder’s Letter
“Today, June 1st, 2026, Gemmyo celebrates its 15th anniversary.
Fifteen years as an independent Maison that has made a name for itself in the world of jewelry.
When we look back on how far we’ve come! We weren’t jewelers, we didn’t come from the luxury industry, we had no family workshop, no network, and no legacy to carry on.
We were simply two young people, a bit naive, hardworking, and very much in love… reckless enough to think we could shake up a century-old industry.
Fifteen years and nine boutiques later, we’ve stayed true to our original vision: 100% French craftsmanship, a vast selection of colored gemstones, consistently fair prices, and jewelry that symbolizes the moments that matter.
It is a source of true pride.
So, to celebrate this anniversary in style, we’ve planned a year of surprises inspired by an idea that’s close to our hearts: “always blooming anew.” We want to honor the ability to reinvent oneself and to keep blossoming, time and time again.
To kick off the festivities, the EverBloom collection is evolving toward greater maturity, with new designs and a more assertive elegance. It’s our way of gradually entering the age of reason.
To mark this anniversary, Gemmyo’s website and Instagram account are getting a fresh look with new designs and colors centered around an idea that’s close to my heart: “always blooming anew.”
This ability to reinvent oneself. To bloom anew, again and again. And this is just the beginning.
We’ve come up with plenty of other surprises to celebrate these 15 years…
A podcast episode like no other
To celebrate this symbolic milestone, I wanted to do something a little different: for the first time on the podcast, Charif and I are switching sides of the mic to answer Ariel Wizman’s questions—no holds barred.
And knowing Ariel… let’s just say it was hard to expect a conventional conversation.
As is my now-famous tradition: I won’t say any more and will leave the floor to my conversation—or rather, our conversation…”
